Description

A really pretty 19th-century French porcelain inkstand decorated with floral sprays and gilding.  It has a lovely Serpentine shape and is beautifully hand-painted and its great to have the inside pot for the ink. In great condition too. It features  a motto which is a slight misspelling of the Latin motto  “Non sibi, sed toti” or “Non sibi, sed totis  “Not for oneself, but for all” or “Not for oneself, but for the whole”.
