William Adams Chinese Bird Round Vase – £68
Description
A lovely example of William Adams Painted Chinese Bird china this fabulous round bulbous vase has four cartouches, with two different scenes, the famous painted bird and the other of three figures.
This pattern was first introduced in 1780 as one of the first Chinese style patterns produced in English pottery. It was then copied and introduced again around 1913 and was then very popular through 1920s and 1930s. This is a lovely decorative piece as well as being useful and a great vase!
