White Horses Card

Postcards & Cards

Description

I took this photo whilst on a photographic trip in the Camargue, South of France. The wild white horses are an ancient breed, indigenous to the Camargue region and are one of the oldest breeds in the world. For centuries these horses have lived wild in the harsh environment of the Camargue wetlands. A Camargue foal is always born with a darker coat, usually beige, brown or even black and the coat will lighten with age, becoming greyer and whiter.

I also have a range of postcards and large placemats featuring photographs of these horses.
