Description
A fabulous ovoid jug in William Adams Chinese Bird. The pattern was first introduced in 1780 as one of the first Chinese style patterns produced in English pottery. It was then copied and introduced again around 1913 and was then very popular through 1920s and 1930s.
This design on the jug consists of two panels, one featuring a chinese bird and one three mandarins. This is a really pretty decorative item that is is great condition.
